Bekka Moritz was born and raised in Kearney, Nebraska. She is the youngest of a large blended family and attended Zion Lutheran and Kearney Public Schools. Mrs. Moritz received a degree in Early Childhood Education and taught early preschool for ten years.

Mrs. Moritz and her husband, Brian, have lived in Omaha since 2004 and share two children - Henry (Class of 2029) and Cody (Class of 2030).

Mrs. Moritz’s hobbies include advocating for mental health, planting flowers, spending time with friends & family, and caring for her pets. She spends the majority of her free time driving her kids to, and watching, their sporting events.
